YTÜ Mimarlık FakültesiBilgisayar Ortamında Mimarlık Yüksek Lisans programında yürütülen atölyenin amacı, algoritmik tasarımmantığının mimari tasarım sürecine entegrasyonunu irdelemektir.Bu makale üç bölümde hazırlanmıştır. Mimarlıktabilgisayarın yaygın kullanımına rağmen, algoritmanın mimari tasarımda kullanımı sınırlıdır.Bu çal ışma, “Hesaplamalı Tasarımın Tasar ım ve Mimarlık E ğitimine Entegrasyonu” araştırması kapsamındayürütülen, “Tasar ımı Tasarlamak” adl ı deneysel atölye çal ışmasını incelemektedir.

Algoritmik mantıkla çalışan araçlar, bu araştırmaların odak noktasıdır. Hesaplamalı yöntemler, formel olguları farklı teknikler ve metodlar ile yenidengündeme getirmi ştir. Sayısal teknolojilerin gelişmesiyle birlikte mimarlık alan ında yapılan araştırmalar, tasar ımda hesaplamalıyöntemlere odaklanmaktadır. The workflow is analyzed and tested on a sample model and results of the synchronization between two software with the help of the Grasshopper ®-ArchiCAD ® Live Connection Tool (GH-AC LCT) is presented. A dynamic workflow principle between Grasshopper ®® which is used to create impressive, complex and intricate architectural forms, and ArchiCAD ® which organizes building information and components is introduced in this paper. Therefore, BIM allows creating coordinated, consistent and computable information needed to design an artsy building project.

BIM enables revealing the conceptual form of a building and performing algorithmic design studies based on mathematical parameters of a building form in design process.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) supports the limitless possibilities of designing these forms. Algorithms helps identifying logical relationships between design parameters of parametric models and these models own different architectural forms with the help of Algorithmic Design. Forms and structures, which could not be created before, have become modeled in advance with developing digital technologies for architects. Various digital media tools are being utilized as a representation tool in architecture and have influenced design and construction in the 21 st century. Today, many different buildings effect the skylines of cities.
